They ruined the UCL. Away goal was so fun it gave us a lot of masterpiece matches.
No away goals makes a match kinda predictable
The home team will try to get the lead and play defensively the next leg
The away team would try to scrape off a draw and attack in next leg
If away goals existed. It would be less predictable becuz if the home team went for a defensive approach, they giving up their advantage and risking it to win in the away leg.
The reason why it’s 3-3 is because there’s no always goals
The reason why a lot of the games have been so free scoring is because of no away goals
I think away goals should be brought back. I mean whats the fun of 2 legs without away goal rule. Now Barca Inter 1st leg has become completely useless.. but had away goal rule been there it would have given Inter huge advantage bcz they performed better on the day.
Away goals sucked
It is because that you would not need a team winning a game to go to the next round. Imagine a 0:0 in the first leg and a 1:1 in the second. So the away team in the second leg goes to the next round and did not need to win a single game… thats the purpose of the rule and it is a great rule.

Away goal rule was ridiculous. Imagine losing 2-1 on away but you win the game with 1-0 at home because of an away goal. I mean what’s the difference if the 1st leg ended in a goalless draw.

I always hated away goals.
Notice how people talking against away goals thinking Inter played a great performance? Is a joke, the away goal was an incentive both ways to play offensively and perform better. I hope that Inter doesn’t have the legs to keep running behind the ball less the counter attacks and get their teeth kicked in while sitting with two lines for a total of 9 players in the back, hopefully at least Ter Stegen plays and doesn’t blunder goals don’t happen again this season.

They should bring back the away goal rule it's make the away team want to attack more and not just try and get a draw.
Away goals were dumb, both teams have an equal opportunity to score as many goal as they can away from home and at home. Factor in the fact that only one team gets the benefit of extra time to score an away goal (if it comes to that), then they're even more dumb.
