  2. Still a great league and just incredibly underrated. Watching La Liga, Bundesliga, and Seria A is so predictable. Hey look! Barcelona beat Sevilla! And Juventus just beat Genoa! Wow! Didn't see that coming.

  3. 8 goals, 8 assists…lets not just pretend he's useless. Dude is capable of golden moments…biggest weakness is stamina and he tends to not go in hard on 50/50 balls (which makes sense at his age, why risk it?). But at this point Keane and DiVaio give just as much in terms of danger. But look at the respect defender gives Henry when he has the ball. Its crazy ha

  4. Zlatan choose to play for Sweden instead of Croatia or Bosnia/Herzegovina, both of which are ranked much higher than Sweden by FIFA now, and at the time of his choosing to play for Sweden.

You seem to think that people only play for World Cups and Champions leagues. People play for money and pride, nothing else.

  5. Sounders regularly draw 30,000 and 42,000 when they sell out their stadium. though its a 70,000 capacity.

CL exists in every single confederation. Also, soon CONCACAF and CONMEBOL are going to announce a joint cup competition. Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, USA, Mexico, Uruguay. Got some damn prestigious and quality competition in that type of competition, and as long as it goes off successfully it should be second only to UEFA CL.

  6. When is started, it was like a 10th division in England. It's now like a third divison in England. In another 10 years, it will be 2nd-1st division quality. More kids in America play football now than baseball, the tide has turned and the sport is growing. American transfers have become more frequent, both to Europe and from Europe to America. Each team is increasing in value yearly, and will lead to higher salaries which will lure players who would otherwise go to Europe.

  7. Hard to say, Graham Zusi, Omar Gonzalez, Wondo, Brad Davis, Osvaldo Alonso, Jack Mac def the best talent in the league, though only 20. Obafemi Martins is alright, Matt Besler.
Donovan is old and overrated, nothing more than pro-US propaganda trying to make a US star when we already have Altidore, Dempsey and others who are much better in Europe.

We aren't like Europe, we don't have one best player in the league, we have a lot of players playing at similar levels at different positions.

  8. Mexico looks pretty bad in the Gold Cup. Looking like the US will bounce them in the final. Liga MX is a great league, it is more consistent than MLS. MLS though is on a path to paying players 10-20 million a year, which is Euro level salaries. This will keep great Americans at home, and bring stars from all over to MLS as well. Probably not for 10 years or more though.

Mexico has no chance of winning the World Cup, like the US they are missing some key things needed to get far in WC.

  9. What About the Mexican League. The surely have potentially grown from a average league to a better one.Mexico Is now considered one of the three Greats of Americas After Argentina and Brazil.Matter Fact I've Heard People Say They may be a Canadite To win The 2014 World Cup After They won The Olympics And Showed there Superiority against Brazil.I mean I agree With them. After all We All Are Human Beings, and Everything Is Possible.:)

  10. MLS is the fastest growing league in the world, arguably only Russia is doing more to progress.

MLS is exponentially more competitive than it was upon it's founding. The best MLS clubs are equivalent to some good Dutch teams or smaller clubs in England or Spain. I mean smaller, as in the ones fighting relegation. However in 10-15 years, MLS will be a much better league, with much more developed domestic talent and development systems. It takes time, but the USA will be one of the best someday.
