He's right but Morocco are cheaters and should be penalized. That towel fiasco was planned because even the captain was throwing the towels away. Disgusting! I will never cheer for them again. I wish them the worst from here on.

Senegal was wrong. I don’t think the referee made any mistakes. If you don’t push, there’s no problem. Intensity is subjective. I think the player was going to push Hakimi, who put his arm out, but if Hakimi had committed a foul, the referee should have stopped the game. The Senegalese were getting very physical. They committed a bit more fouls.
Anyway, if the goal should have been confirmed. Given that the penalty was valid – there was a shove and clear intent – without the chaos, Brahim could have equalized.
afcon title is not moroccos birth right. morocco has for years used football antics on and off the pitch to get advantage, we the rest of africa are tired of it. look at the police brutality, tickets , towel concealing from opponent fand, is that all the referees fault. look we are tired. senegal reacted exactly how any other african country that play against them and know them would have. look at their antics against nigeria and cameroun
And no word about the corruption, the sudden referee changes hours before the game, the amount of refereeing mistakes in favour of the home team – i would investigate and look if someone has gotten themselves suddenly a new Mercedes…. And no word about the towel situation and physical assaults off the pitch

As much as i like the morocco team and liked how they played in 2022 world cup, but in this afcon they tried everything unfair to win tournament. The towel incident, senegal players complaining about food poisoning, and referees not doing anything about the towel issue even after it was raised in the semi-final itself. Morocco got what they deserved, felt bad for Brahim Diaz as karma used him as scapegoat to punish morocco

Senegal did what Trump did in Venezuela. Self Help! When biased and rogue referees discard the rules and decide to truncate fairness then sometimes it is just to also discard the rules of protocol to register your protest however ugly it may look. The message is that refeering at this level has to be looked into to avoid more future embarrassments.
South Africa versus Egypt. Ref gives a free kick for handball just outside the box. The ref is called to the monitor for a VAR check potential penanlty because it was in the box. Only for the ref to change his decision and gives nothing. It is a sad to watch games for Afcon its self and qualifiers for the world cup consistently having controversial decisions more often than not.
It was a great championship. Well done Morocco and Congratulations to Senegal.
Ridiculous the towel incidents aren't mentioned or the fact that Morocco had the same VAR referee throughout the whole tournament. Whose paying them to stay quiet?
