  1. The NFL has spent millions of dollars researching whether or not turf causes injuries and they weren't able to conclude anything at all. This is just a matter of what a player is used to and not. Think it's not just the surface but equally them going and playing in an Arctic climate which is completely different from what they're used too.

  2. Bodø/Glimt tried to have a grass pitch. Was not sustainable. Grass was annhilated through the winter. The turf was only decent to play on for maybe 3-4 months of the season and it was in a horrible state. They just don't have a choice.

    Bodø/Glimt didn't have the economy anyway before to maintain a grass pitch up until recently thanks to years of european campaigns. Bodø/Glimt would have loved to play on grass year round if it was possible. They have to be realistic about it.
