  1. Barca started their prime in 2009 and they got beaten by Mourinho’s Inter in 2010. On the other hand, Madrid conquered Europe for 3 consecutive years. That’s more impressive for me.

  2. Here's my list

    1. Di Stefano's Real Madrid 1954-1960 (5 consecutive European Cups)
    2. Carlo-Zizou Real Madrid 2013-18 (4 UCLs in 5 seasons with a 3-peat)
    3. Guardiola's FC Barcelona 2008-12 (A revolutionary squad winning 2 UCLS in 4 seasons)
    4. Arrigo Sacchi's AC Milan 1987-91 (Back-to-Back European Cup winners)
    5. FC Bayern Munich 2011-13 (Back-to-Back finals and a UCL win)

  3. Not necessarily a case for one of the best ucl ‘teams’ ever, but the 2012 Chelsea team has to be mentioned as one of the best ucl winning runs of all time, going up against and beating the likes of Barca and Bayern who’s teams from that era are considered amongst the best of all time. The way they came back to beat Napoli in the last 16 2nd leg after sacking their manager AVB and then go on to beat prime Barca and Bayern both times away with the players they had in comparison to Barca and Bayern was incredible. They were considered extreme underdogs both times and still managed to come out on top, especially the manner in which they did against Bayern in the final, equalising in the final minute and beating them on penalties in their own backyard. I would argue that the 2012 final was just as amazing a comeback from Chelsea as the Liverpool one in 2005, and deserves to be up there with one of the best ucl runs of all time.

  4. The famous Croyf Barcelona, when they lost to AC Milan, Laudrup was benched, and why he left to Real – whereafter they dominated for a couple of years.
