Sport is for entertainment just like movies and going to a concert; nothing more, nothing less. Sport became boring when ppl and organizations forget that fact. That’s why we don’t have players like Ronaldinho, okocha, Ronaldo anymore. It has gotten boring. I was watching the game between France and Spain and I was thinking to my self so there is no player on this team that has enough flare and confidence to dribble and embarrass the Spanish defensive players? SMH sad. Imagine zidane or an okocha against that defense 😂. They are going to dance on the pitch.
Most ppl do not remember some teams that won the World Cup but they remember the players and moments that made them smile. That is what sport is all about.
It’s true this Spain team is so talented, people don’t realize these defensive minded tactics were only developed in response to having so many offensive threats out of form and coming off injury. A natural Spain looks the euro winners, incredibly fun attacking football

Games are a form of entertainment, yes? And what else is there for the guys on the pitch. Do they save world hunger by kicking the ball? Do they stop “climate change” by running up and down a field?

As A European from tiny Malta and someone who lives football. That yesterday was a nasterclass in football. I was definitely entertained. The made France look like ametuers.
Plus some of the play was just sooo good. The chance we're Fabian Ruiz put it wide were they basically toyed with France was just amazing. Would have been best goal of the tournament
