In summary:
Barcelona = Coach
Real Madrid = Manager
Henry is the Goat. His personality and Intelligence is out of this world.
Coach fits into the club. Manager decides what the club is.
Did he quite answer the question?
Surely Alonso knew this when he signed on the dotted line.
That's why all Madrid players are making Xabi's coffin…
Lol he doesn’t know the answer does he?
The reason M'Bappe plays in a different style where he dives alot. He wasn't that guy in Paris.
But Barca built around messi, just see the KP BOATENG recent interview
Anyone saying that Xabi doesn't get the culture at RM, forgets that he was a top player at RM not so long ago.
99.99% of you commenting to explain the difference have never set foot in a football dressing room 😅
These pundits 😂. Although some are great players but to be a great coach i don't think any of them are able to
A manager is trusted enough to introduce his own football philosophy.
A coach must work around the Club’s set philosophy and expectations of the ownership.
Except that Real Madrid under Ancelotti during the first round (La Decima run) actually listened to the manager and backed him all the way. Real Madrid would allow players to run the calls but we know how successful that led them to be in the past during the "galacticos" era
Cristiano Ronaldo, honestly, would have been better at Arsenal. His fluid free attacking would be so much better there. Average players tried to kick him out of being himself in training. No wonder he wanted to go to Madrid and ironically, his dribbling went up another level 2010-2014 before the knee injury, it was BETTER than his united days and with better end product.
United ruined Ronaldo.
Sir Alex Ferguson was the true definition of a manager. He even managed accommodations for some of his players. Coaching was just one of many things he did.
Which is which, he didnt say
I still can't understand difference between the two 😅 please can someone explain in a simpler way?🙏
The editing made his explanation more confusing
This is why Henry sucked at both.
If u want a really terrible manager get henry
Except with Jose. MF Fd Casillas 😅
Henry tried his best, but this is the best description.
Manager has overall club authority, handling strategy, finances, transfers, and recruitment, while a Head Coach (or simply Coach) focuses primarily on the on-pitch aspects: training, tactics, player development, and match-day decisions,
Madrid = Managing
Barca = Coaching
The manager has a broader role. The coach is mostly navigating all the on-field development.
I have absolutely no idea what Henry was trying to explain it was all over the place. I’m sorry.
So basically Hansi Flick is a Coach while Ancelotti was a Manager
He's just explaining the different kinds of head coaches, managers have much more overall responsibility within the club, Arteta was promoted from head coach to a manager, meaning he has way more say about loads of things, whereas most others are just head coaches who can even get told which players they can't pick by the board
He still didn’t explain it 💀
