  1. So a technicality no English coach has ever won it by a season off but a British coach has won it THIRTEEN TIMES MORE THAN ANYONE ELSE IN HISTORY so you’re point means nothing

  2. English football culture was deeply and proudly stupid in the 90s, 00s and early 10s. We could still produce good players because of our large, football mad population and good facilities. But kids and young pros were never really taught to think about the game in a tactical and analytical way – all just passion, hard work and discipline.

    I think there has been a culture change in the last 10 years or so, I reckon when the current generation of English players retire we'll finally see a crop of quality English managers
