Why does your thumbnail platform the shock of the loss rather than the shock of the victory? That's one of the most tedious and unfathomable things to me about modern football coverage. It never celebrates achievement, it only ever berates and moans about failure. I don't understand why the broadcasters favour the strategy of presenting the negatives of their product all the time, rather than the positives. Why do you always frame badness and incompetence, rather than selling us a battle royale of greatness? Why is it never 'the small team won because they're great too'? Why is it always 'the big team lost because they're shit too'?
'Every component of our product is shit.'
'Oh well, let me pay through the nose for it then!'
Bizarre.
