  1. im based in aus and cried tears of joy alone in my room when this went in around 5AM local time i think (my Dad and baby bro were IN amsterdam live for it too as they're UK based with season tix and often travel to follow them) then it gutted me when we fell in the final, that time i had to sob amongst throngs of local fans that congregated at a local spurs friendly pub that opens at like 2AM for special games like this and it was packed out – same for Englands probably even more crushing Euro final PK loss to Italy – good news is Spurs and England are on the rise with young talent

  2. This was the most incredible week of football. Monday you had Kompany's winner. Tuesday the 4-0 game at Anfield. Wednesday this unbelievable ajax spurs game. And Thursday you had arsenal and Chelsea winning nail biters to reach UEL final.
