The Key To Improving As A Football Player! ๐Ÿ“ˆ

Sometimes the biggest risk is not taking a risk!

Fantastic advice from Rio Ferdinand on taking risks to better yourself as a player.

You can watch the full “Taking Risks” episode from Rio’s mentality course on the Train Effective app (you will find it under mentality training).

  1. I canโ€™t take risks because the coach just yells at me and subs me off even when the โ€œflashyโ€ move ends up working, how am I supposed to learn and know what works if I canโ€™t try it without losing playtime

  2. I'm a late bloomer in soccer, I am having a lot of trouble even being able to take those risks as taking risks isn't encouraged at my age. I made it to one of the highest levels in my area, but it is hard to get better. I can practice on my own and improve my skills and everything, but I have trouble learning to apply the techniques in practices as you get in trouble for doing these things. What can I do?
