Quarter finals They’re facing Portugal in the round of 16 And Portugal just lost to Georgia 2-0 and Slovenia beat Portugal earlier this year and ended their long unbeaten streak. I think Slovenia can upset Portugal. Although after that it’ll be either France or Belgium and i honestly think their run ends there in the quarterfinals. as a croatian i cheered for england as the only way for croatia to go trough is if england beat slovenia 3-0 (which i knew wouldnt happen), denmark to beat serbia, georgia to lose to portugal and turkey to beat czechia but im more glad that didnt happen because we really didnt deserve to go trough. now im cheering for slovenia and slovakia to go all the way
Matchday 3 was so unpredictable. The top teams (France, England, Belgium, Portugal) underperformed and the big underdogs surprised the world. I did not have Georgia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Romania in my bracket.
At the moment it looks like they’ll be playing Romania in the round of 16 so definitely winnable. Then the quarters would either be Austria or Turkey so very possible to see them in the semifinals 🤷♂️
