A lot of media outlets are wrong in their assessment. They say Barca are in the wrong because they bid peanuts for the player… peanuts? They bid a 100mil!! PSG has a player that wants to leave and PSG PUT 140MIL on his head.. Liverpool wants the player and put in a first offer of 100mil…did PSG breakdown, started crying, and completely ended communications?…NO.. they rejected the first offer and sat down to negotiate a better offer because the player clearly wants to leave… holding a player against their will and pointing to contract terms is a small club mentality…no big club would do that if a player express to leave in such a way. To completely break down and not even want to negotiate a better price for an unhappy player is ridiculous.

This idea that the club “stuck by him” last season this guy keeps saying is always interesting. He signed a contract so Athletico rightly have the upper hand. However sticking by him is laughable. What would they have done beyond benching him? Last season, Simeone kept pulling him out of games anyway.
