Jurgen Klopp believes there are many reasons for Liverpool to remain optimistic despite missing out on Champions League football next season after Mo Salah called the season a ‘failure’ on social media and apologised to fans.

Salah is selfish and ungrateful! Because of him, he left Manet and was underappreciated. It is no accident that after the departure of Mane and Firmino and the disintegration of the big three and only Salahov remaining, we have not won a significant trophy!
My boys did not lose the Passion and the fire and yes despite it not being our season and as the boss says we will rebuild ourselves and see our options and fight again. Post Bobby Firmnio leaving and the emotions surrounding this and yes he has aged however what an incredible player and family man he is so all this turmoil to a point cannot be Hidden so all that remains is for me to say is You'll Never Walk Alone and we are Liverpool FC and THIS IS ANFIELD and we will return with a refreshed squad and with even more energy. Bring On The 15th August 23 and Stamford Bridge home to Chelsea!!!

Why is Salah putting more pressure on FSG than Klopp? Klopp should have backed Mo & demanded real investment this Summer.
Salah is the captain we need. Him coming like that and apologizing for us after being the standout and best player in the team is just making the europa league sounds less painful because at least we still having him and we know how hungry he is for next seoson

Mo said he was disappointed not to qualify for the Champions League. What is the big deal? I would be worried if he wasn`t.

Mo's sentiment is so admirable. It shows he cares. You have got to love him for that… LFC are more than a football team though. A family, from the most famous player, to Jurgen, to backroom staff, and to the massed supporters, local and global. Yep we ended up 5th in the Premier league. It's still a pragmatic good… A blip this season gives scope to improve the next… We endure… I am thankful we are there, or thereabouts every season. I remain concerned though, for the club from which we were formed…The blue side of Liverpool. I so hope they don't go down… The Merseyside derby is very much a staple event twice each year. A workmate told me… "It's almost a free 6 points each season" …But still… They empathise with us re. Hillsborough. So come Sunday. And with our position fixed…. I might have a cheer for the blues.
Chelsea's Europa League triumph in 2018-19 showed that they are still the best team in Europe, despite barely missing out the Champions League on the final day of the previous season's Premier League to Liverpool, who were the eventual winners of the "big one".
If this happened, I think Liverpool can win the Europa League next year while their big rivals, Manchester United, enjoyed the same thing in the Champions League.
We were embarrassed in ucl this season, we would be embarrassed if we were in it for 23/24. Rather not be in it until we can beat quality teams
Next season will be even more difficult and to be honest we will be struggling with this squad.

What Jurgen has said is fair.
Ok, so it hasn't really been a particularly great season and we know this. It's been obvious for a few weeks now that Newcastle United and Manchester United would probably secure the final 2 UCL places and so it has happened.
But as Jurgen says the sort of form shown since about March has been really good. From being down in 8th place but now looking as if it will be 5th isn't a bad end to the season and it gives something to build on.
And remember that we did in fact win a trophy even if it was before the first Premier League match. The FA Community Shield will still register in the history books.

If a team that was challenging for a quadruple in the last season, failed to even make the top-4 because of poor transfer dealings, tactics and injuries, then it shows its not a well-run or coached team.
It's a terrible season and the end of the Klopp era.
