  1. Sometimes I just think Deli was a good but not great talent because of his fall… but you look back at the performances, the stats… he was sensational. Just goes to show how big the mental side of the game is.

  2. I'm glad Jamie brought up the 60 yard passes that Toby Alderweireld did so well, and Dele explaining how the team just came together to know when Kane drops back and he makes a run or Kane is forward or Son has space and so on, then knowing Eriksen would deliver a quality ball was interesting to hear. I always knew Eriksen was free to move around, find space and link ball in buildup to deliver it to whoever he saw had best scoring opportunity. But hearing Dele explain it, sounds like they were all free to move around & knew and trusted each other so well to deliver the ball to whoever was in or making run into best scoring opportunity. It was definetly a special team with great players that just complimented each other so well. Many things you could say, but after Kane really began scoring, he still missed 1-2 months each year ( before he really dedicated himself to being extremely fit and the player he's been past 5 years) and Spurs had a better record when he was injured.
In every sport their are always great teams that should have won something, and in Football with 4 different competitions to possibly win, its a shame they came close to all of them but never did!

  3. The English media did more damages to its young stars than anyone else. Overrating their players was never going to help. From Rooney, rashford, dele Ali and even ESR shame 😢

  4. Good luck come to rangers , european football youd play every week unless a premier leauge team gets you theres well worsethan coming up to scotland show 50 thousand fans every home game what can do

  5. I met Dele in Formentera as he was getting off a yacht after the 2018 World Cup. Really nice guy who had time for anyone who wanted to say hello to him despite being with all his friends and family. hope he gets back up there to the top level.

  6. I remember when i was younger i first saw dele play for england and he got me excited in the talent we were bringing through. Fair enough he didnt do it for england in that time frame but all these new england talents that have come through since: grealish saka bellingham i could go on. He was the first new talent that excited me as a younger fan to think england could progress their squad to win tournaments. He fell off somewhere but were all human. The biggest strength as a man in my opinion comes from being honest about not only your negatives in your life but also talking about your problems. Men throughout history have never done this and it needs to change and hopefully it looks like it is doing. As a fellow man thats had very dark times your mental health is first and foremost if you lose that by bottling it up itll wreak havoc on your body. This "man up" mentality needs to be as strong as womens rights which btw i am all for. Biggest killer of males worldwide is linked directly to deppression. Dele has gained massive respect from me. Wish you all the best in the future mate ❤

  7. makes me feel bad for giving off about him being this and that, the neville interview made me change how i judge youngsters like him who perhaps go off the rails. You dont know what life experiences a person has had.

  8. Outstanding footballer for a good period of time dropped off a bit at the end of his time at Spurs, however he come across well & hope he gets back fit & can get another chance
