Your team, had you guys been decent, would have kept that margin of a win. Your team will probably always be irrelevant in the world of soccer, whereas the US is making its breakthrough. Money says that you guys won't even qualify for the 2014 WC in Brazil.

Hello guys. Stop complaining. It was interesting match. Also France scored vs Ireland with hand and instead of Ireland France is now playing on WC. Judge was really not the best (with soft words), but lets face it – both teams US and Slovenia have everything in their hands now. Heads up. Yesterday Cameroon showed brilliant skills vs Denmark, but still have to face going home – but now one can say anything to them and supporters can be only proud. So be proud of your teams and fingers cross!!!

I grew up playing soccer in West Germany and Liberia (not USA) and didn't realize that's how the rule swayed. So the yellow card given to Findlay was legit, right?

I'm reading the forums and USA articles about the match and i as a Slovenian fan am shocked and stunned about all the crying and whining and unbiased reporting that's going on all over the place. Yes the goal should be recognized, but when i see some ppl saying our team should all get red cards and nonsense like this from obvious newbs of the game its kinda lame. Ref wasnt up for the task , he missed several yellow/red cards who should be shown against US player, and a goal…
The point is, the ref was wrong to blow the whistle as the replays show that none of the U.S players were comitting any fouls. On the contrary, there were about 3 U.S players being held back by Slovenian players! So, if he blew the whistle, it should have been for a U.S penalty!!

@Slovenian35 if you think we played dirtier than your slovenians, we obviously weren't watching the same game. the slovenians were diving all over the place, and fouling our players in the box on multiple occasions (for some reason no penalty was called, which baffles me. on the third goal you can see 2 yanks getting bear-hugged).
but despite all that, i thought it was a great game, and both teams had 1 great half. congrats to slovenia for exceeding everyone's expectations thusfar!

I'll just say this. Both sides fault the other. no question there. but the difference betwen hugging players ( from the slovenian side ) and the dirty elbowing going on throughout the entire game ( from the USA side ) makes a big difference. I personally don't care that much if it's a light faul, but if you run past a player and see that you won't catch the ball. you don't elbow your way past him just because you can. it's dirty and it's a dishonorable way to play. Shame on the USA.

The best game in wc 2010 so far, but the referee was really bad
