What a bunch of tools, shameless.
Everyone makes mistakes but Oliver's mistakes are always against arsenal
Michael Oliver is not bigger than the game. Why not VAR intervened ?
It’s not about the stature of referee. He made a costly mistake which VAR could have rectified.
2 minutes talking about the abuse, 7 minutes defending this idiot's decision and var's uselessness
When they don’t get called to the screen to at least double check that an obvious mistake has been made it’s no wonder people jump to accusations of corruption.
Jamie Redknapp has been paid royalties by the PGMOL, the audacity that he has, to say that oliver is the refree he would select for big games, shows that this guy has never played a big game like Champions league final
Not having it he’s had this coming time for him to be removed from the league
Dorks
May be if the PGMOL stopped defending every horrendous decision they make week in week out that impact the game negatively and take responsibility, may be these threats would go away. Has the PGMOL taken a minute to think how negatively Oliver's mistake could Lewis-Skelly?
Redknapp says referees make mistakes but footballers make mistakes every week also. The difference is footballers are held accountable. Referees aren’t and don’t have to face the media etc. Abuse on social media shouldn’t happen but also shouldn’t then shield investigations into consistent poor decisions unless he refs man city.
4 imbecils in one studio. Unbelievable
Just imagine going to work and making mistakes week in week and being told it’s ok because your a ref, people pay a lot off money to watch there teams and refs and var cost you games and there is never anything really done about it,so you can understand why people think it’s corrupt and this clown saying why would anyone wanna be a ref when it’s there teams they all say the ref isn’t good enough ect there needs to be a better standard of ref and things done when they make mistakes this much, how old is VAR and we still talking about every week along with refs.
Michael oliver is a useless name of EPL
This narrative that oh "he's the best referee in the premier league" SINCE WHEN?? I've never heard that said anywhere by any fan. take accountability of the mistakes you make. the way he was so happy to give that red card that it took him 2 seconds to pull it out without even thinking.
deflecting from the main issue as usual
big corporation backing another big corporation.. wow big shocker 😂
sad to come for commentary and end up with propaganda. If you want the job you must be able to withstand all decisions especially the mistakes. Accept your mistakes not ignore and run away like they never happened. Clearly One Country and League has the worst problem…people believe it bc it is corrupt. idiots.. I swear no open mindedness
Dude these two guys are absolute shills. They aren't even trying to hide it haha. Zero integrity.
He should be made to retake his ref license as he is clearly incapable of doing the job he is being paid to do
This league is an embarrassment because of such referees. The Premier League must take action against the corrupt PGMOL organization before they start losing viewers.
This fkn league is disgraceful more like. Pantomime League. There isnt a "game" anymore. Just fkn pathetic drama. He's 39 years old, get a grip.
Someone with integrity doesn't go to referee a game for millions of dollars in an oil country. He same person doesn't also make several questionable red card decisions this season that disadvantages the team pursuing the league title.
PGMOL we’re appalled at your LACK OF ACCOUNTABILITY for a poor performance.. if players or managers or even owners have poor performances they get fired / let go.. what accountability do the ref’s have? If Oliver is the best referee you’ve got, you must be talking about non league
Do you know what Oliver's decision will negatively impact young Skelly? This is an 18 years old player…the young player is traumatized.
Investigate refs and VAR crew for gambling on in game scenarios. Because it HAPPENS!!!…. you just don't want the whole house to come crashing down. All corruption gets rumbled in the end. 'Tim Donaghy'
You guys are more disgraceful than the referee.
Investigating what? He attracted these insults in himself with a terrible decision. Oliver is England's Best? With this kind of decision? The best reference should have composure to make game changing decisions
michael oliver is literally corrupt. he took the money of the man city owners and it shows on the pitch. 50 arsenal games 8 red cards, 50 man city games 0 red cards given by oil-iver
bunch of clowns
michael oliver hates arsenal
No he's not
Abuse… you can find absolutely anything, ANYTHING, on the internet. The story here for anybody with a brain is who pays off the referees. There is no way they can be this bad on pure incompetence.
Wow, you lost it skysports, after watching this I'm sure I won't watching any of your sports news again.
Disgraceful
Maybe if they criticized the referees and allowed the teams, managers and players to then there wouldn’t be this build up of frustration and aggression and the PGMOL could learn to improve.
Instead, the English referees are the most incompetent and most protected species in the country.
All the main stream pundits(diddys boi's) talking about abuse! Take the money boys!! The truth will come out!!😉
Listen – the abuse to a criminal suspect is never disgraceful if the relevant government body never acts against criminal activities such as bribery, match fixing, gambling. No proper investigation done so stop using these type of referees. And stop crying no one will want to referee anymore for god sake a lot of good referees are available out there.
Carragher wants to say something that he can't say because he is on Sky and Rednapp keeps breathing down his neck. Also, Sky knows the same thing that we all know and Goldbridge pointed out this morning that Taylor and Oliver can't be questioned.
If he's the best then English refs are in a sorry, sorry state. Sky trying to deflect away from his incompetence. If he doesn't want this level of abuse hurled at him stop refereeing top 6 games; especially Arsenal games. Sow the storm reap the whirlwind. He'll think twice now before he pulls out another red card.
So these pundits sit there and cane the ref and whip people up then condone the behaviour. 😅
Disgusting pundits zero integrity like oliver
Terrible decision, from anyone that knows the “laws of the game”.
Officials are subject to criticism just as the athletes they referee. Officials should have to answer after the game just as the winning team is interviewed as well as the loosing team. To make them feel bad, no. It’s to let them explain why they made the decision they made.
Gambling has made lines so blurry that you have to question EVERYTHING! That’s the real disgrace!
Insaneeeeee gaslighting. Mouthpieces for the PGMOL
