What I'm gathering from this is MLS is moving forward. Out with the old and in with the new. Basically, new commissioner for the next level for the league. Garber has done 25 years of service to the league coming from the NFL. It's time for a proper football commissioner.
I just wish we could do something for the original teams, may of whom are langishing under flacid ownership, like the Rapids, Fire, and Earthquakes. Yeah, many of the new teams are flourishing, and good for them, but something has to be done for the original teams. These are good markets with lots of potential that are underperforming.

I work in professional sports and have for 30 years. I have been blessed to work in the NBA, MLB and the NHL. Don Garber is the best thing that happened to MLS and this league would not be where it is without his vision and leadership.

Don Garber's favoritism for three or four teams is bad for this league. From trying to destroy the Crew to allowing Miami to bend the rules for Messi and Co., this man needs to be removed yesterday.

No question he has made a huge impact, and much of it positive, but I’m hopeful for new MLS leadership soon.
