Thai soccer team and coach released from hospital, talk about rescue



The 12 Thai boys and their soccer coach who spent more than two weeks stuck in a cave headed home from the hospital today. Doctors said they were in good health. CBS News correspondent Anna Werner joined CBSN from Chiang Rai, Thailand, where she was at the team’s press conference.

  1. Indeed! The children are expecting to be punished because they left home without informing their parents. That's Asian family value system… But if I am a parent who almost lost my child… punishing him now would not be good… the letters they wrote to their parents when they were inside the cave waiting for rescue is enough for me to realize how difficult their situation was.. I will just talk to him to make him understand.. and I would make it a point that the second chance given us as mother and child would not be wasted…

  2. It amazing and I'm very happy to see them all recovered and how well thankful they are to all the rescuers. NOTE: Asian kids in Asia are more respectful to their parent.
