some of those comments may not have been 'trash talks' if they cut the comments in half. I'm all for team uswnt but sometimes u wonder on their game play. what Neid said seems to be true, but, arent all team supposed to be convinced of themselves though if u plan on winning?
without the part "..team stuck in the past" in Australia's comment, the first part seems to have been a gameplay of team usa for some of the games. a commentator on a game even said why abby didnt just try to kick the ball to goal instead of heading it.
i keep trying to look for that game where tobin acted almost like aya miyama of japan after their 2011 wwc win. of all players i think tobin was the first to shake hands with the opponent. does anyone know that game?

Miyama has already started the talk. It's fairly respectful though, she just mentioned how we got the Gold Medal in the Olympics but they aren't going to let down and let the USA take the World Cup.

For me U.S.A and France were the best two teams from the tournament. After that Japan and England….then Germany. U.S.A have got better and better.
In japan, we respect our opponents with honor.
