German football has been in a slump for almost ten years since the 2018 World Cup. If you don't work hard to reflect on yourself, the decline of the women's football team may be more terrible than that of the men's football team.

I’ve watched the German Women’s National team for 15 years and the match against Sweden was perhaps the very worst game ever played. This was an inept effort that resulted in a terrible loss. Their keeper looks half asleep, the defense couldn’t mark a cone and the midfield was very slow recovering once they lost the ball. The offensive showed effort and some skill, however they are all ineffective as tacticians. Frankly, the whole team needs to be reconstituted. Gwinn and Oberdorf are highly quality but both have lost too much time to injury. Finally, a great deal of criticism needs to be directed at the coach. Who picked these players? Who’s training these players, they all look lost.
First germany plays clearly the ball, gets yellow card, afterwards swedish player takes a tackle, thats only intended to hit and potentially harm the opponent and luckily somehow the ball hits her leg and it starts the second goal for sweden. A red card for a autonom reaction to protect your face. … 3 Major referee mistakes within 15 minutes deciding a whole game ….

One of the few things all sports have in common is when you play you play until the whistle, flag, or call from the official! That first goal by Sweden was definitely on Berger.
Berger was so off her game. I was shocked at her non-reaction on the first goal wth was that?! Sometimes players get to caught up with offsides instead of just doing what they’re supposed to do.
