Well, even teams as Spain, France and Argentina would lose every game with a coach as bad as Jon Dahl Tomasson that we in Sweden had during the qualifications, even the players were against his weird tactics but they just had to shut up and follow.. That idiot did all he possibly could to give us the worst team possible. As soon as he got sacked and we actually got a real coach we start winning. I don't think we'll go far in the WC but one can hope.
These fifa rankings doesn't mean anything: For example Turkiye and Paraguay plays normally against teams like Spain&Brazil while USA plays against teams like Haiti etc. The same is true for Australia, they play against small island nations that nobody remembers the name. USA being 15 at the fifa rankings is stupid.
Congrats to Sweden for qualifying to the WC! The ref was tragic, but both sides feel this way as I am informed. It's a pity my team lost after trying to play some football (which did not really happen on Thursday against Albania when luck was on our side). I hope we learn sth from this game – watching the team conceding goals so easily hurts! After digesting the loss, I can say I am overall happy with our team's performance as the new generation of players started stepping up in big games (Zalewski, Kamiński and Szymański carried us in this match). Lewy is going to retire soon and we have to start building our team around those guys. Ironically, I have reasons to believe we can do better without Lewy. What we need is more cohesion in defense, and more tactical resposibilty with the ball in the back. Tonight, we played football and we lost, but at the end of the day there is no need not feel ashamed for our team.

I dont get why people complain about sweden. There is a path to qualification through the nations league. Everyone knows it. Sweden won their group and got a place in the play off and then they beat ukraine and poland. Sweden deserve the spot in the world cup.

Well I can agree on that the team seemed to be playing really bad in the group stage.. But to say that you have the worst team in a qualify I think is extremely wrong to say.. In my eyes I don't think I've ever seen a Swedish team with this HUGE potential! You had half of your squad injured and still won against Ukraine and Poland. I have never seen a Swedish team with that many star players and individual skills, kind of sick actually.. You got 4 of the WORLDS best offensive players in your team if they are well. Isak, Gyokeres, Dejan, Elanga, you can also count in roony bardghji to them. Not even many of the BIG football nations have that type of attacking force to put on the pitch! You also have many other players from big clubs on other positions, more then I've ever seen as I said. You didn't have a bad team in the qualifier, you had a BAD coach! A really, really, REALLY BAD COACH! This is one of the most interesting teams in the whole world cup I would say.. and I'm not lying about that. So be happy that you have the best generation of players in a Swedish national team in like.. forever.. at least on the paper. You guys WILL be a terrible opponent in the World Cup. As a Swede, 🇸🇪 I'm ashamed to advance to the World Cup after such a bad group stage. It's the worst team we've ever had in a qualifier. We shouldn't go to the World Cup after zero wins. Plus we got beaten by bad teams on paper.

Sweden were so bad in their previous matches I didn’t think they would qualify but they made a smart move by replacing their coach last minute. It was risky but it paid off. Honestly Italy should’ve done the same.
