No better opposition to win a first Play-off final after 8 attempts. Welcome back to the Premier Division, Waterford fans travel in big numbers to away games, Cork fans dont seem to like leaving Cork much so the added atmosphere at games will be welcome. As for Cork, John Caulfield broke the club trying to keep up with Dundalk and have never recovered since. Taints his leagacy if his agricultural style didnt already. Galway (Horgan the main man there really) and Waterford will be great away trips in 2024.
Finally we managed to win this fixture after eight previous defeats in a row! up the Blues!!!
