Longford have inconsistency with a lack of ambition, 3 managers in the last 4 years?. 1 promotion (Daire Doyle) and then relegation with only 2 wins all season (Daire Doyle) failed in play offs (Gary Cronin, and he fell short 2 seasons in a row previous with bray no 3rd time lucky with Longford) and a shocking start to this season, 6 points from a possible 24 and ye best win against Kerry Fc and a squad not good enough for junior level (Stephen Henderson). Can’t see ye getting promoted anytime soon, the club lack any real stability.

Loi tv is a shambles full stop. Every single week the tv freezes or doesn’t come on from the start of kick off, no commentary some weeks, floodlights are poor, rain water on camera lense, list is endless. Let alone the standard of football on show.

The level of football on display this season from Longford, Treaty, Finn Harps, Wexford has now reached "shambolic". Longford have now suffered a crushing loss to Treaty who have also be abysmal. It’s ok getting excited after beating kerry. This loss marks yet another setback in a miserable league season so far that has seen ye record just one victory in the last 5/6 games, leaving ye joint second bottom on 6 points in the 1st Division & Treaty have a game in hand over ye. 6 points from a possible 24 is shite..! There is no quality control.
Henderson, Peers have zero offensive qualities amongst either of them, this management’s style of football is horrendous sit back and invite pressure. All to defensive. No ambition throughout the club and that shows on the pitch. No plan A, so I doubt they have a plan B, same shite different year.
Players like Shane Elworthy should be playing top of first div / premier, he won’t be there long he’ll soon get fed up, he will follow the the other 15 player the left before him. A Dervin not the same player as he was, runs around moaning at everyone like he’s some super star. Longford, Finn harps etc are very lucky there’s no relegation from first Div. FAI should make the league a promotion & relegation league giving clubs from LSL, Mayo league etc opportunity for promotion. This would give clubs like Longford, Finn harps, Wexford, Treaty a kick up the hole because with these clubs they lack real ambition it’s the same shit year in year out…Bottom end of the table.
