    I’m not blaming refereeing for the result. However, the referee and the linesman on the stand end of the pitch were absolutely terrible tonight. So many wrong calls made. I wasn’t aware league of Ireland football has become a non contact sport. The linesman gave a number of throw-ins the wrong way against both teams.
    I honestly believe I’d be a better linesman than the one on the stand end tonight…and I don’t think I’d be good enough to be a linesman at that level, but I’d still be better than him. That’s how bad he was.
    The officiating was disgraceful and the FAI are to blame. More fans across the leagues are attending but if they have to watch crap refereeing spoiling the game they’re going to stop coming. The best thing for the league of Ireland to continue growing is to free itself from the FAI. They couldn’t run a bath.
