  1. A couple years ago Sporting eliminated Arsenal in the penaltis after a goal from the halfway line in the Emirates
And I dont know why the english media keep pretending Sporting is no one, we finished 7th in the league phase, we beat PSG home and we are invincible playing home in the champions league this season
Today wont be an easy game for Arsenal, but I hope they think it will

  2. Gyokeres, no preseason, poor fitness, mentally fatigued due to all the transfer drama and a Artetas' CF requires a holding the ball backwards amidst the CBs near the penalty area proficiency that Victor does not have. Hes great at holding the ball backwards in the attacking midfield at turn left and run at the RB/CB or attacking the space between the holding midfielder and RCB!

  3. As a Sporting fan sure arsenal is favorite, but Sporting is unpredictable and can have moments dominating arsenal. We will pray to stop arsenal atack and Score some goals

  4. 5:44 if you asked literally any sporting fan a year ago, we'd all tell you the exact same thing: gyokeres absolutely IS a world-class striker, but he just so happens to be quite bad at headers and will NOT fit in at set piece fc aka arsenal. I am actually quite surprised with how he's begun to adapt. you people seriously need to stop looking down on the portuguese league. you always think of darwin nunez, but never think of ronaldo, nani, bruno fernandes, bernardo silva, ruben dias, ederson, luis diaz, etc, etc, etc…

also, sporting's not an underdog. we finished top 8. we beat psg. we made that comeback against bodo glimt, which inter was unable to do, and we were further behind. we even eliminated arsenal from the europa league 3 years ago.

  5. Nico stop projecting your personal expectations of Gyokeres as the overwhelming voice of the Arsenal fans. Your myopic view that Arsenal's attacking problems and only elixir was that of a number 9 is completely injudicious. Under Arteta, Arsenal's attack is a collective and Gyokeres as the gentleman in the panel echoed was brought in as an effective striker to enhance that attack. Stop trashing Gyokeres, his fee was fair and shows that he's not world class! If the 9 was the elixir why were the fanbase celebrating Eze's return. Stop that narrative Nico. Shush!

  6. The English media really needs to show more respect to Sporting. This isn’t some underdog story — this is a top-level club with serious quality.
Sporting is currently unbeaten in 17 home matches and finished top 7 side in Europe. This is also a team that beat the reigning Champions League winners and also one of the favourites to win the competition. They just dominated Bodo/Glimt, yet somehow that barely gets mentioned.
Instead, all the focus is on Arsenal’s 5–1 win — with no context. At that time, Sporting was dealing with 14 injuries, had just lost Rúben Amorim, and were briefly led by a coach who didn’t even last a month.
What also gets ignored? Sporting knocked Arsenal out of the Europa League over two legs when Arsenal were top of their league.
Give Sporting the recognition they’ve earned. This team deserves respect.

  7. I don't want to disrespect Luis Suarez. But he don't score against Benfica this season, also he just scored penalty and penalty rebound against Porto. Not like Gyokeres who scored against Porto with 4 goal and against Benfica with 3 goals. He scored 1 goal against Chelsea in Carabao Cup and 2 goals against Tottenham. I don't know about you guys think Tottenham still Big 6 or not in PL, but yeah😅

  8. Dude… BS stat again

In the current 2025–26 Premier League season, Erling Haaland has failed to score in 13 out of 29. Gyokeres in 18 out of 29. Relax

Gyokeres has 33 goals in 56 games this season, all comps, club & country

When Haaland arrived at City, Alvarez, Foden were immediately reassigned. At Arsenal every fwd is still doing their jobs and scoring their share. 3 diff hatrick scorers, how many @ City?

Who cares what you think anyways

  9. Im an arsenal fan they make me sick all the players the manager there is no fight it team even if win the league the whole squad needs changed all the players have to leave the club the coach as well and arsenal needs a rebuild it gonna again can believe I'm saying this you can't come so close to cup finals semi finals and top of league and lose everything I'm miserable being an arsenal fan they need a new coach and new 11players very sad sorry to say😮‍💨😡
