The kiss had nothing to do with this scandal, and it was completely consensual, anybody that sees the video can tell how happy Hermoso was with the kiss and she said so. The problem is the media completely misinterpreted the kiss, and Rubiales to defend himself lied by stating that he got verbal consent from Hermoso and that she tried to lift him. After Rubiales lied, Hermoso called out those lies. Rubiales is a creep and an idiot, not for kissing Hermoso but for lying. The media keeps spinning this as if here was something wrong with the kiss, there was not, it was Rubiales lies after the kiss that is the problem here.
