The first yellow in the Orlando match should have been given to Messi instead for Demanding a Card.
First play – i am happy to call that a 50-50 ball with both players moving to gain control but also see where you award the PK based on primacy of position. Clear and obvious error? Given movement of players toward each other, think no call by ref was reasonable in the moment.

On the 1st Clip : To me , perhaps a better on field decision for Penso would have simply been to give an advantage call after the foul, since the ball immediately fell through to fellow attacker who took a shot and goal, but shanked it ! Then VAR would not need to intervene. Did not like how he said "there was no foul" but there clearly was.. If no advantage given , there a clear PK to me ! Thoughts on this ?? 2nd Clip: Very soft PK make-up call because of 1st Clip ?? Hmmmm??? To be inside the mind of Penso on these 2 incidents !!
Can we PLEASE get more consistency from PRO on yellows for stopping promising attacks? I swear the refs in MLS forget about this rule until the 60th minute every match I watch. It's literally crazy to go from watching the prem to MLS. It's like a different game sometimes in terms of officiating.
