Great drill. This can be a real difference maker for players driving forward on the ball. I play semi pro and since I started using this more I find not many can get me off the ball
Very cool drill!
Can you post the link to the Chelsea video you mentioned?
Problem is kids in US are discouraged from protecting the ball. No wonder even adults aren’t doing it, it’s been weeded out of them.
If you put a ball down at the end we'd see who could get first to it lol
When I do this they start fighting
Great drill. Doing it today
My question is, what's the limit of using hands until we get the foul?
love this drill….kids these days need to be taught simple, basic but essential techniques of playing competitive football.
Helpful, thanks!
I loved this
I hope all young players in CANADA 🇨🇦 is watching this drill to understand that the arm is allowed. Never see a place where players cries for foul so much when someone uses their forearm to protect the ball or to gain on advantage in a one v one. It’s just impossible to play with your arms down.
Thanks Coach; using tmrw!!!

Nice drill, especially for younger kids who can easily be intimidated by the bigger, physically stronger ones.
