  1. OMG! FINALLY someone explains to aspiring soccer (football) players the difference in movement between a hip and knee! It’s crucial for any player. The hip angle (called femoral neck shaft angle) shuts when you are in your early/mid teens. When it shuts, no one can change the angle of the joint. However, the range of movement can be increased & maintained in the muscles surrounding that ball & socket hip joint. So move to maintain your hip angle by, for example, climbing trees, yoga, salsa classes, gymnastics etc. My recommendation is yoga as it maintains the angle for your lifetime. Hope you come back to the UK pretty soon Professor Green as Newcastle United badly needs you!! You’re brilliant!
