  1. People just be criticizing Germany for losing to such a small country like Slovakia but they don't realize how good Slovakia have gotten, even if its an almost guaranteed loss, Slovakia still gives an incredible fight

  3. This Nagelsman is a failure.
He did a reasonably good job at Dortmund, but what did he gain?
He's a marketing product created by the German media!
He's a dull coach with no charisma. It seems to me that he doesn't instill the necessary confidence in his players. Tactically, he's terrible, and he chooses the starting eleven poorly.

  4. Looks like Italy won’t go to the World Cup again 😢😔😒

If Germany fails to go first place that means Italy will most likely face Turkey in the playoffs rounds

  5. The title picture makes clear: The 22 year old Wirtz is the one to blame. Not the 29+ year old Kimmich, Rüdiger, Tah, Goretzka Gnabry etc. 😂😂😂 How ridiculous 😂😂😂

  6. Germany also lost to Poland with same score in fall 2014, in a euro qualifier. still finished as semifinalists there. like i said, an occasional blip will happen. true enough, Ulster is a historically tough opponent for them, while even Lux have some quality now, and nearly made it to last euro–but i don't see Germans sinking THAT low as to not be able to top this group

  7. while there sure are causes for concern, this level of alarmism is very exaggerated. i'm by no means an admirer of Germany, to put it mildly, but i am baffled by many arguments expressed here. it's only second time they lost an away qualifier? well, it's not like even Germany is expected to always win away games; logic should tell that expectation should be reserved for home matches. and Slovakia, as already noted here, is as good team as any, and playing home against such presumed 'giants' they were expected to fight like hell, so what's the sensation here? an occasional blip will happen even to a grand like Germany or Brazil, who mind you lost to Bolivia with same score in WC-94 away game, then still went on to win it.

  8. Obviously, Slovakia isn’t a football powerhouse, but take the last EURO as an example. They beat a stacked Belgium side, and England needed stoppage-time heroics just to survive their playoff match. In European competition, even the heavy favourites can’t afford to have their top players operating at only 70–80% of their peak. That’s no longer enough to secure a “guaranteed” result.

  9. As a Slovak🇸🇰 I have to say this was one of the greatest football matches in history of Slovak football.🤩
And it was an honor to play against four time World Cup champion. 👍

  10. Germany have been poor for 30 years aside from the 2014 side. They arent a major power and they're happy to reach a qf and build for the next tournament, rinse and repeat. Their federation dithers and arent decisive.

  11. Nagelsmann really can't put together a good team he's more of a coach who rely on individual brilliance regardless of the injuries he had players that can bring better results he's clearly not a good coach but he surely good at putting together words that can cover up his failure as a coach

  12. I don't agree with the pundit bashing only the players. Nagelsman clearly is resposible for his poor decision making and mismanagement and throwing players under the bus in his post-match interview which good coaches never do. Even accepting Germany players are just not as good in the past, it all comes down to the manager to motivate and set strategies. Nagelsman is another Ten Hag. Should get the boot asap.

  13. That is the worst German performance I have seen since the 2018 World Cup.

    Dismal and offered absolutely nothing.

Naglesman before this game: "I want us to win the World Cup"…?…Right…which World Cup would that be then, because on this performance we are a looooong way from winning one of those.

  14. Nagelsmann is a fraud! Did no tactical or formation change during the game when we were down! Goretzka and kimmich can’t play together in the middle.

Unfortunately Sandro Wagner was the brains behind Germany

  15. Germany's demise is not surprising considering Bayern are no longer the powerhouse they once were… historically, when Bayern were strong in Europe (UCL champions 2013, SF 2014), so were the German National Team (WC Champions 2014).
On the other scale, Spain's current dominance coincides with the regen of Barcelona.

  16. Not only does Germany has been so bad in football lately but in all sports when u see in the Olympics to the World Games to even in the esports World Cup Germany is really lagging in sports against its peers especially UK, France and Spain
