  1. Tough game overall. We knew Seattle away on two days rest would be a battle, and that it was. The Sounders were simply more clinical, honestly. Morris with a great strong run with pace and a tidy finish — that’s something you’d like to see a little more from Vrioni though he has been better of late. Rusnak clinical as well to ice it late. No huge errors on the goals other than a lack of pressure on the ball. The defensive layers weren’t there, and you would maybe expect Polster or Harkes to be there, particularly for the second goal. Ivacic had a good game, glad he’s kicking into good form. As for our attack, there weren’t too many golden chances. Esmir probably should’ve done better to get a shot in the air on the double save from Frei, but that was really it on the day. It sucks to lose Borrero pre-game. I haven’t looked at any injury reports yet so I don’t know what or how serious it is but this team really can’t catch a break. Both the injuries and the lack of a threat against a solid team tonight show the need for a good forward and maybe an attack minded midfielder as well in the summer transfer window. Vrioni just isn’t consistent enough (not that it’s all his fault) and the only othet striker we have on this team is Bobby Wood who hasn’t played in forever and isn’t as good either. Ema, Borrero, Carles (man do we need him back), Chancalay, etc all out atm. On the bright side, we’ve got a full week before a game against Orlando which, if won, would still put us in the playoffs. Also a midweek game against a reeling Philly side after that, so there’s points to be had in the next couple weeks with a couple games in hand still to play and hopefully a productive transfer window. On to Orlando then. Go Revs!
