Sorry sir but thinking that was not a great game to watch for the average fan is really dumb because with a world class referee this game will never be like that ! I’ve no issue with a weaker team playing hard but yourself said it's incredible that Paraguay didn't receive a card… that clearly shows that the game wasn't refereed as it should have been. It’s still incredible for me to thinking about the punch that Mbappé received when he was running and the Paraguayan player didn’t received a yellow card 😳😳, and that in front of the referee at less than 6 feet without an obstructed view. If for you that’s football, maybe you should focus for a different sport. Thanks
Disgraceful refereeing from start to finish. Three yellow cards for France while the Paraguayans were playing like they’d just been released from prison? And then a Paraguayan gets Man of the Match? Give me a break. It genuinely felt like FIFA wanted France eliminated.
Can someone explain how am inexperienced Uzbek referee was chosen to officiate a match which had all observers, pundits, players, journalists, historians aware of what Paraguay was going to do? Why? is it because perhaps there is seemingly a plan to prevent France from winning another World Cup? From changing the ranking and group allocation rule just before the start of the tournament? Somehow we have one aging player playing easily the most favourable groups all the way to the semi-finals… zero yellow card, 10 mins extra-time, somehow VAR never used for physical acts that might have harmed french players… what is going on?

Unless you're Paraguayan, I don't see how this style of play belongs at the World Cup. It's not going to get you very far anyway and when you leave the tournament without producing anything remotely entertaining, everyone is just relieved that you're no longer wasting their time.

Polish commentators (who obviously watch A LOT of football and it’s their job) were horrified by Paraguay’s fouls and were worried they will harm French players. They said that it’s instinctive to cheer for a weaker team but this time they cannot help but be happy that Paraguay lost. And I don’t understand how it’s France that got 3 yellow cards and Paraguay got none!# I’ve watched enough football in my life to know that personal attacks that have nothing to do with the game or the ball deserve a yellow card (slaps in chest, face, kicking someone feet from behind, stomping the penalty spot before a PK, looking for opportunity to kick someone when falling).
