0:57 if the striker was actually trying to run after the ball he just kicked away, then his feet would not have been where the goalie slid. Instead, the striker kicked the ball away, stood there long enough for the goalie’s leg to make contact with his, then threw himself to the ground hoping for a penalty. If I were the ref, I’d give a goal kick while laughing at the striker for such terrible acting skills.
Edit: after slowing it down and looking again, I dunno. The fact the striker flopped so hard and threw his hands up like that still makes me want to call it a goal kick. He made no attempt to continue stepping towards the ball.
San Jose would be so much better under real ownership. Fisher is one of the owners holding back the rest of the MLS owners.
