  1. Portland defense is so so bad! I used to lived in both Portland OR and San Diego, CA and am so happy to call you my brothers and sisters rooting for San Diego FC! I am sad to not be there to root for you and for our city since I no longer live in San Diego but I hope to be there soon! This game in 1:28 that pass should have been a goal and made it 5-0! Andres Dreyer really have convinced me that he should be the finalist alongside Denis Bougaga to win the MLS MVP award. Dreyer now have probably 23 goals and 21 assists and has NOT stopped making assists + goals! I hope San Diego can beat Vancouver next and be in the MLS Cup alongside NYCFC.

  2. Just another mediocre flame out from Portland after an off season full of hype. Frankly I was surprised they even made the playoffs and fill their fans with false hope. They are a long way away from prime time. Why do I even bother?

  3. It's annoying how teams complain on just about every time (by raising their hands) that a goal is no good because of offsides, when it clearly isn't.

  4. It's amazing that Pellegrino is doing so well with San Diego. He spent most the season playing terribly for San Jose. If he was in this form then they would've made the playoffs easily.

  5. San Diego is outstanding… But Portland (as did Miami when Neville coached there) just gets worse as the season goes on. The season starts off fine but then, with each passing game, the team looks less organized, fearful and beat down. Sorry, but Phil sure looks like the problem. Good coaches are hard to find but they do make a difference. Things don't look good for next year.

  6. The only comfort I took from this was seeing Old Man Chara a couple of times running down SD attackers on breakaways. Fully expect Sockers Nuevo to get to MLS Cup. Bringing Lozano off the bench is genius
