I was really excited about Ghana until
kudus got injured. I they are cooked tbh 😅😂
But let’s see
😂who is this guy? You’re saying Jordan’s recent form has been less productive but he is been the most productive in terms of goals for Ghana😂😂
A friendly is different from competetive football.
I absolutely agree with him. We don’t have a good squad this time around and we just gotta be realistic
Jordan has always proved the critics wrong. He was a major reason we qualified in the first place.
You might want to ask somebody who knows this Ghanaian team next time. There're a ton of top quality Ghanaian sports journos who will give you much better takes on the Black Stars. Otto Addo's sack was coming. Otto was not popular among Ghanaians because the team was clearly retrogressing under him. His sack was more a relief than controversial.
I totally agree
African coach? Well technically Carlos Queiroz is an African coach as he was born and had his early years in Mozambique!! Thus he said this appointment filled him with great pride
Kindly find Ghanaian sports journos to give you better context about the team.
Who is this guy he does not know this Ghana team 😅
The Ghana FA keeps harvesting stench and covering it with frosting, hoping nobody notices. Leaving out Paintsil while selecting out-of-form players like Baba Rahman says everything about the standards. Prediction: Another disappointing flight back to Accra on June 29th.
Prince Adu Kwabena is going to be the difference maker 🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭
You guys have shown that you are not familiar with this Ghana team. Watch out for Caleb Yirenkyi and Ernest Nuamah
Look, as a diehard Blackstar fan and ghanaian, I have no hope for this Team in this world cup. They are there for participation. Also, your "african expert" is so wrong about Jordan Ayew and Inaki Williams🤣. Jordan is a different player when it comes to Black stars and Inaki has been average in this team. Clearly knows nothing about the Team.
A South African journalist passing a verdict on Ghana football smh
Do you know that South Africa was the first country to host the world cup and get kicked out in the group stages? Even USA didn't set such a horrible record in 1994.
I’m surprised you guys are disappointed in us sacking Otto. He was honestly not a good coach. Also, he didn’t qualify for the just ended AFCON so you might want to correct that.
Ghana would be one of the strongest teams in the world if all players who qualify to play for played for Ghana. There are so many players with Ghanaian spread throughout the top teams.. There are Ghanaian heritage players in the England, Spain, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, Canada, USA, Switzerland, Austria, Qatar and many others. And they are good players like Mainoo, Quansah, Alfonso Davies, Richie Laryea, Nico Williams, Doku, Gakpo, Broberly, Frimmpong, Depay, Musah, Duah and Danso. Then you add than Jamaicans and Suriname people the most Ghanaian descended people where 75 to 80% of both nations can trace their roots to Ghana, meaning players like Van Dyke, Bellingham, O’Reily, Ivon Toney, Reece James, Gravenberch, Timber, Laryn, Jonathan David, Rashford and Dumfries have Ghanaian genes to.
The sad part is Ghana with Nigeria are probably the strongest two countries in Africa on pure raw talent, but corrupt Federations hold them back. FIFA empowers this corruption because they have a rule that if any government investigates a football federation for corruption, they will automatic ban that country from participating in world cups, protecting this corruption. African federation gets around 7 to 10 million from FIFA to build football infrastructure to develop young players in their own country in a systematic way. In countries like Ghana and Nigeria this money disappears and nothing is built and they heavily rely on the diaspora players to fill, their nations teams because it costs them nothing to go to Ghanaian or Nigerian heritage in England like Semeyo, Lookman or Iwobj who have been professionally developed to switch because it costs the African FA nothing. This is why African teams get weaker and weaker every world cup cycle because this corrupt and amateur way to things is meaning African countries are being left behind in this era.
That is Senegal and Morocco dominate African football because they the only two African FAs actually using the FIFA money to build training facilities and academies and they are getting rewarded for not being corrupt with stronger national teams trophies that lead to more funding for them.
Like seriously, he scored 7 goals and 7 assist in the qualifiers
And without Jordan, Ghana would be sitting at home. That alone justified his inclusion. A smart coach has use for him but not as his main facilitator.
This African football “expert” doesn’t know anything about Ghana. His takes on Jordan being ineffective and Inaki being a star is so telling how lost he is about the team. Not even Inaki will say that 😂
First. But he was horrendous. He had to go
