  1. In 2022, Argentina wasn't a favorite because of the relatively unknown players on their roster… Enzo, Julian, Macallister! Players making their debut in that tournament. Well, now for 2026, they're established players for their clubs, and they've added the desire to win this cup thanks to Simeone, Nico Paz, and others! I'm surprised that people put Spain, England, or Brazil above Argentina, even after Brazil lost by 4 goals in the qualifiers after saying they were going to steamroll them!

  2. Argentina may not have the best collection of individual players, but I believe they have the best team in the world.
Their mentality is incredibly difficult to break. They recovered from late equalizers against both the Netherlands and France at the 2022 World Cup and never stopped believing. This team simply refuses to give up.
They concede very few goals, rarely lose matches, and when they do suffer a setback, they almost always respond immediately.
They have the know-how, the talent, and, above all, a warrior mentality. Every player is willing to sacrifice everything for the team, for their country, and for Messi. That collective spirit is what makes them so dangerous.
It took Argentina 36 years to win another World Cup. Winning it back-to-back would seem highly unlikely on paper, but something tells me this group is far from ready to let someone else get their hands on that trophy.
Spain and Portugal are deservedly among the favorites, and both have outstanding squads. But facing Argentina is a different challenge altogether. Many great teams have talent; few have Argentina's resilience, chemistry, and winning mentality.
France is the only team that truly pushed them to the limit in the last World Cup. And even then, Argentina were in complete control for most of the final. Had Di María remained on the pitch, or had Mbappé not produced one of the most extraordinary late performances in World Cup history, the result could have been far more one-sided.
If Argentina learned from those final minutes—and I trust Scaloni's intelligence and ability to evolve this team—they will be even harder to break. Eliminating the lapses in concentration that allowed opponents back into games could make them an even more formidable force.
Talent wins matches, but mentality wins tournaments. And right now, no team embodies that mentality better than Argentina. None.

  3. It's not true that Argentina is centered around Messi at all. In fact, we saw some later qualifying games where Argentina actually played better without Messi.

  4. Senesi is too slow. We saw the slow defender movie in 94' with Ruggeri and Borreli and once again with Ayala and recently in18' with Foyt vs France. He needs to get faster. As for wearing the 10? We're used to it. We went through this with Kempes and Maradona and now Messi. I don't think there will be any extra expectations.

  5. Now here is my problem

Messi has been playing like he is on something for a while now…

    When argentina go crazy again
Y’all will say fifa made him play like that..🤣

    ARGENTINA WILL DO IT AGAIN

  6. U guys didn’t watch Argentina 🇦🇷 post World Cup 2022 . Argentina has successfully defended Copa America in 2024 and has annihilated Brazil 🇧🇷 home and away . The only team probably could cause issues is France 🇫🇷 but I don’t think France 🇫🇷 could make it to final 3rd time consecutively. Argentina 🇦🇷 could become 1st team to defend title after Brazil in 1962 .

  7. The defense is terrible. Otamendi is slow , error prone and trash . Romero and licha just came from injury and they didn't have very good season. Neither did medina and montiel. Senesi is not here after playing so good this season

  8. Poor squad selection by scalonin
How can u have a 38 yr old otamendi over inform senesi
    And where is buendia ???
After his exploits with aston villa he should have been the first one in

Scaloni has done the same mistake as 2010 italy, 2014 spain and 2018 germany made
Too much player love bcoz they won the previous world cup
    Very poor
