the foul that led to #22 substitution vs romania shoulda led to straight red card since dumbfries had no intention on playing the ball and is nowhere near it, but strictly doing a american football block of sorts. you can tell is a bad call when they won’t event show a replay of the foul. then romanian counter is stopped in minute 80 before the 2nd and third goal for apparent high kick, but romanian player got the ball and no where near the netherlands dumbfries head… netherlands gets their way similar to dejongs kung fu kick vs xabi, playing heavy and dirty, ref 🧑🦯

The referees are completely ruining this sport. Every sport. With var and everything, not only should that yellow be revoked for Romania, the Dutch player should get a yellow for simulation. He was a foot away from his face and he acted as if his head got ripped off.

Netherland's Dumfries in this match easily took the lead for The Diver of the Tournament award beating Portugal's Leao and Austria's Sabitzer. Euro 2024 has turned into a world-class diving and acting competition rivaling the Olympic Games and Hollywood. What an absolute farce.
