Maybe I’m missing something in LaLiga or Premier League derbies but I just don’t understand how people can compare them to this.
Now I think we can all agree that this wasn’t vintage Italian football, but CBS decided to keep out the many coming togethers in the last few minutes of the match, and I think one thing that makes Italian derbies stand out is definitely the atmosphere. Like for example El Classico might have better quality football with bigger names but I can’t recall fans in an El Classico being as loud as in any Italian football derby.
Good to see Roma finally play fearless offensive football like under Luis Enrique, these teams are good news for Italian football in general
