Do you know what fair play to van Persie. If I walked out against my former employer whom I scored a lot of goals for and there fans started singing “she no robin” and “your a c**t robin” I don’t think I’d have it in me not to run up and give it them in there faces, yet the class of the man he never even celebrated.

It's funny he celebrates the last one after not celebrating the first two, because it sums up his character. He wanted Arsenal to still like him, he sent a letter saying "thanks guys", but if he really cared about that he wouldn't have gone to United. So he performatively doesn't celebrate the first 2 goals, hoping the fans will still like him. But of course the fans boo him. And once he realised he couldn't fake his way to regaining their respect, he celebrates the third one. He has the same traits as Michael Owen: he's a great striker, but he doesn't understand loyalty, he doesn't understand that of course the fans won't forgive him. He only ever made decisions for his own career, and that's why he should have celebrated all the goals, because he scored them himself, and he only cares about himself.
He wanted to stay at arsenal and they didn't offer him a contract ! They were idiots. He should celebrate every goal from day 1.
