  1. 4:17 What handball? The ball hits his head first and then goes down to his arm, not the other way around; if it were the other way around, the ball would have gone up, not down.

  2. 3:37, I normally agree that just getting the ball doesn't absolve a foul, and I get there has to be a line drawn somewhere. But it's not a small nick on the the ball, he fully clears it and there is no way that taking the player out after stopped him from getting to the ball, because of how far he cleared it. I'm not saying this is a wrong call by the laws of the game, but it just feels bad to me to give as a penalty.

  3. Charlotte FC fan here. Didn't they change the rules where when you slide, the handball rules are more relaxed bc… Where else are you supposed to put your arms? I understand the decision more now but still aggravating

  4. 6:25 "Clearly no goal…"

What? How is that clear? Where is the goal line camera angle? Second tier leagues in Europe have that angle but MLS doesn't? 😂

  5. I kind of have to disagree with you on Smith. Not saying it was intentional or malicious, but he had to have known an opponent was in the immediate vacinity from a throw in from the other team.

  6. Wow, I continue to be amazed at just how unhinged Vera is as a player. At least two choke holds, that knee in the back of Mason Toye…

Talented guy but he should not be allowed to play professionally

  7. Andrew, can you break down why the foul on Fafa Picault on a breakaway wasn't a red and DOGSO? (Can't remember what minute it was as I was at the match)

  8. When he kicked an opponent in the face it wasn’t intentional but still over aggressive. Should be suspended for more than a game. For violent conduct that led to blood dripping scratch that’ll leave a scar on his face. As a coach I was filling in as goalkeeper someone kicked it hard broke my arm,

  9. I was hoping for a different angle on that SJ goal line clearance. I agree that angle doesn't show the ball clearly across, but I also don't think it really shows clearly out had a goal been called. Nothing down the line?

  10. That NYCFC foul shouldn’t be called if Bartlett is also holding him like that! Yeah Parks fouls him, but only after Bartlett has his arms around Parks’s waist. How’s that not a foul on the DC defender?

  11. I personally think it is fine to both calling and not calling the PK in the last Cincinnati PK case. My argument for a no call is the action is justifiable as it is a clear "playing ball" action with no initial intent to play the player and the contact is the aftermarch of the "playing ball action" and the distance/time makes changing the momentum impossible.
Please note that I also agree if it is a call by the referee, it should stand.
I think this one really goes down to the referee's personal interpretation of the spirit of the law.
