Rapids were too slow to move the ball to the outside back on the Gozo goal, because of the delay/lack of pace they got the ball to the outside already under pressure. They continued to play out of the back without real conviction and it led to the second RSL goal.
Gozo and Solans are one of the best strikers of the league.
2:17 if you use your arms to hold someone (or in this case tackle them) in the box, call a PK for crying out loud
Gozo was great. Solid match for RSL
If anyone's wondering why they are booing the GK at the end is because gozo tried to give him a ball so he could pass, as an act of kindness, but the GK pushed gozo down and then kicked the ball, the ref talked to gozo, but not the GK??
Everyone in MLS be warned, RSL means business. 🔥 And we have learned a new unspoken rule, if you breath on a Crapids player, they WILL fall over 😂

I have to admit this ref was about 90% equal and consistent on his calls. He wasn’t letting most things slide. But that 10% he was leaning tword RSL. He definitely call us on our crap which you can tell from the foul count but n he was being forgiving on cards for us. But the he was throwing cards at the rapids if they even barely pushed us which were light fouls but if they don’t play the ball is a card
The starting lineup for RSL had so many youngsters, probably not the youngest (average) to ever win an mls game but it's got to be up there.
Today I learned that Gozo has no left.
Rapids backline is criminal. WTF? Kalshi?
That center ref really tried his hardest to keep the Crapids in it. He was awful on how consistent his calls were.

Gozo and Solans are some of the best youngsters RSL has ever garnished in a very long time. The growth of these kids are amazing and they’re gonna be special. GO RSL!
