Real Madrid claimed their fourth FIFA Intercontinental Cup title by defeating Pachuca 3-0 in the 2024 final. The team’s attacking trio made the difference: Kylian Mbappé opened the scoring in the 37th minute, followed by a stunning goal from Rodrygo Goes in the 53rd minute, and Vinícius Junior sealed the win with a penalty in the 84th minute. Despite Ángel Mena’s goal in the 91st minute being ruled out for offside, Real Madrid reinforced their status as global champions.

  1. Yo, why'd you only show the close calls and goals from Real Madrid? Pachuca almost scored twice which were really supposed to be goals but messed up—so unlucky and also Pachuca did score a goal at the 90 minute but it was out of position. If they had scored those other two goals tho, the final score would’ve been 2-3 and not 3-3, with Real Madrid still winning all thanks to a penalty and an unlucky out of position goal from Pachuca . Honestly, Pachuca wasn’t playing badly at all and could’ve tied if the that last goal wasn’t token away from them. And with a cherry 🍒 on top of that, Elias Montiel got 3rd place with the bronze ball trophy, right next to Vini Jr. and Valverde—two Real Madrid players. Anyone else could’ve won that, like Mbappé or Bellingham, but no, it was a 19-year-old Mexican boy from Pachuca. Considering Pachuca was ranked 16th out of 18 in Liga MX, I really can’t take this seriously. If they played this well, I can’t imagine what higher-ranked Mexican teams would do to Real Madrid.
