Which of those squads would you trade Real Madrid’s current squad for?
For me the answer is none.
There is no squad better than ours. We just need the players to function as a real team.
The real problem was never a lack of quality. It was that some players neither understood nor embraced their roles. There were also conflicts in the dressing room and a lack of leadership from both the coach and the players as well as a lack of motivation ambition and desire to compete.
We had some weaknesses last season but I believe we fixed 90% of the squad’s problems this summer.
And I’ll sit back and relax once Asencio leaves and we sign another defender.
