The US Federation has spent 20 Years devaluing the GOld Cup, by sending b teams and c teams in order to play the nations league. Why would this players now it take it serious whenthe US federation have not?
So if he got injured playing and doesn’t play for ac Milan or the World Cup every one will be complaining about his decision then

This current USMNT group is entitled. It's embarrassing to see the parents of these players (Pulisic's and Reyna's dad) stepping in to fight their grown sons' battles.
Additionally, if this was any other country – Spain, Argentina, UK- this wouldn't be an issue, if the player opts out- he is out and next man up.
As many injuries as Neymar has had he’ll always Fly wherever Brazil is playing if called up. It doesn’t matter if it’s a friendly or not, he’ll show up. Ronaldo is 40 and he’ll show up if called up to Portugal.
There’s no picking and choosing what games you want to play when it comes to the National team. Does he do that for Milan? I doubt it so it’s Show up or stay home but if you stay home I would question calling you up going forward.

I will vilify him all i want and its my choice, his play in his last two games was horrible, he played so poorly that he didnt deserve to be on the field. I dont care if he ever plays again, THIS IS THE NATIONAL TEAM NOT YOUR CLUB TEAM, AT LEAST ADAMS IS IN CAMP! Face it the mens team will never compete with the top teams in the world, the depth of this team completely sucks.
