  1. Webb, useless as a referee, not going to get any better after promotion is he. We can't expect them to decide on what actually happened, but they'll continue to make decisions on what they wanted to see. Crystal Palace player punches an opponent flush and with criminal intent on the nose, what happened? Exactly, nothing.

  2. City could have lost the league because of that Rashford offside incident, this was a clear error… how much did you and your boys get for that mr webb?

  3. Had to come back here. Remember the date 11th of February 2023 the day that VAR systematically failed and should var get binned off this is the date that it all started. The Brighton goal, the Brentford free kick 2 the Soucek hand ball var has had a shocker and they know it. I’m sorry Howard you’ve been in for a few weeks and it’s got worse.

  4. we got a dodgy goal against city and boy have we suffered since .palace defo pen ,arsenal some strange decisions ,reading rashford offside now ,forest home defo pen against weghorst ,palace casamerio sent off when anyone of 5 others could have gone and leeds 2 goal defo handball ,still id take all that for rashfords goal against the berties lol

  5. The Casemiro red card was ridiculous – VAR needed to look at the whole situation. It's a tough job don't get me wrong but there are some calls which have been ridiculous (Casemiro's one, that Fabinho tackle on Evan Ferguson was another)…

  6. Regarding penalising time wasting, giving time wasters yellow cards just wastes more time. They need to either increase the added time, or be much more strict and give out yellows and second yellows much earlier

  7. Why did var get involved with that hand bags at dawn united vs palace, no need for var to send him to the monitor to check one slowed down bad angle of a supposed strangle which with other angles was clear he had his collar and they was chatting and laughing right after the moment was paused and rewound

  8. Don't forget the two decisions that went against Newcastle and West Ham in the same weekend earlier this season. They were awful decisions that many people couldn't believe how they were given as fouls.

  9. The worst Var decision ever, it could be used to show a perfect example of a player not touching the ball but interfering with play. The ref and the other officials need to face consequences for their actions. This decision stunk of inconvenience or corruption.

  10. Rashford ran towards goal alongside the ball and didn't make any attempt to move away from it. He was literally over the ball when Fernandes took his shot. That was the worst decision ever made by VAR.

In contrast Arsenal v Man City FA Cup, Saka got pulled up for being marginally offside, even when he had his hands up and was nowhere near the ball to clearly indicate he isn't involved or attempting to make a play. This stopped the Arsenal counterattack that could have potentially led to a goal. This is madness.

  11. Well what I don’t understand is, the officials in the VAR room says they spot something and then the ref who’s refereeing the game, slow the play down and says yes I see it too. Shouldn’t the officials in the VAR room play It In real time, slow it down, 360 the whole play to get a full idea of what the situation may be. Then give that information over to the referee who is refereeing the game. Rather then the ref slowing it down him self and goes, ha I’ve spotted it.

  12. He’s talking a good game to justify VAR being in the game but really there are just as many, if not more refereeing decisions that are wrong in todays game because of VARS intervention

  14. It's great to hear this from Howard, transparency has been severely lacking in refereeing, especially since VAR came in, let's see if it happens 👍
