Don Carlo has taken it levels above this season..He is the best manager in the world…and top 5 all time…He always adapts to the players and let them express themselves unlike Pep and Klopp…Its like Pep and Klopp see football through only one lens, but Carlo sees it in many different lenses..His depth of understanding football is much above anyone else… don't forget his first manager job was in 1992..no one has adapted to changing football like he has

So then if both squads are sitting equal or higher than Man City – does that not suggest the manager is what's helping lesser squads compete against Man City?

This is the most nonsensical panel review of managers, they can't even agree on what the criteria is… as evidenced by Alonzo being first 😮 he is having a brilliant FIRST season so far, but he hasn't won anything yet and what the hell is Poch doing on the list!!!!
There is little discussion of weighting the competitive leagues; performances across all competitions; tactical and team formation decisions; dealing with adversity, in-game management, coaching etc

This question & ranking seems so flawed. Each manager is basically ranked on what position in the table each team is. Yes Leverkusen are basically having one of their best seasons ever, but the top 3 managers are Pep, Klopp, and Ancelotti, and it's been like that for a while. I could maybe say Leverkusen are having a (slightly )"better" season than say City, Liverpool, Madrid, etc, but Alonso just isn't a "better" manager than them. Pep isn't the best because he won a treble last season? So Alonso is better because Leverkusen didnt win anything last season? I dont get it lol
