Rangers have too much ground to make up to mount a title challenge, but they had everything clicking on this occasion.
Zoom out a bit and this is a good result for Celtic.
In a few weeks this will be a mere blip on route to another Celtic title. However, Clement, a man who was about to be fired will still be Rangers' manager at the start of next year.
Clement has shown nothing but ineptness against Rogers' Celtic: he does not have the financial backing or tactical genius to overturn Celtic's dominance.
Celtic lost today not because of Clement's tactics, rather, they did not show up with the necessary intensity needed for an Old Firm game. Why? They dismissed Rangers as irrelevant because they have been up until this game. Rangers simply wanted it more.
Zoom out a bit: Rangers still have Clement next season, Celtic no longer underestimate them, and Celtic continue to dominate Rangers and Scottish football.
