I just want to talk about the fact Arsenal has consistently signed defenders that immediately outperform their pricepoint. Getting Gabriel and Saliba both for 25MM each needs to be talked about more. The best defensive pairing in the world for 50MM all in. I'd like to see more from Califiori defensively, but going forward he's a real threat. Timber and Ben White have both shown a level of consistent performance which I feel is close to unheard of. Arsenal's defense is the best in the world, it's so refeshing to see coming from someone that started supporting arsenal in the Mustafi, David Luiz, Sokratis era. We are where we are today because we got stupid mistakes out of our game. I'm proud to be an Arsenal fan, and hope the boys can keep this intensity all the way through the CL.

He had the keeper right where you want him—moving to his right and defending the near post. He’ll learn. You give Nwaneri that kind of room to run and he’s dangerous.

Calafiori Vs Lewis Skelly, which is better to start against Madrid? (if we make it to the next round, which we should,, hopefully)
They both have different profile, strengths and weaknesses,
– Skelly is solid inverted left back that's also conformable on the ball against a press. but can be reckless at times which could be costly.
– Calafiori is not as solid but works well with Troussard and helps strengthens the left flank, he's also more likely to assist offensively.
