Its impossbile to say if that ball would have been anywhere that Newcastle players' arm had it not bounced off a PSG arm. – I understand the VAR, but the fact that it came off an "arm level" surface made it hit another arm. – I cannot believe anyone would say that it was interfering with or averting a scoring opportunity. – probably why a card was not given to the Newcastle player. – Still, as a fan, I don't think a penalty kick should be awarded. – It looked more like pinball, less like a "handball".
Think about this when a ball hit your hand on accident it usually looks limp the ball hits your hand and just falls down or your arm knocks it down as your body moves but this one had forward momentum like a smack

Barcola clearly nudges the ball with his elbow towards the NC defender which is what caused the ball to hit his hand. Plus it was ball to hand , not hand to ball. Absolutely horse manure reffing. I’ve said this time and time again, refs need to have played some sort of competitive football before deciding to be refs because at this point I’m convinced 80% are trash.
